OUR STANDARDS

ECN prides itself on providing the highest standard of Cannabis education but what does that mean?

LANGUAGE

Words can be impactful. The words we choose to use can deepen our understanding or cause misunderstanding. At ECN we believe that, while it's important to meet people where they are at, it is equally as important to use language that supports respect of the Cannabis plant and doesn't promote stigma.

EVIDENCE

We often hear people say that "lack of evidence and research on Cannabis is what is holding us back from being able to speak to its benefits" but we know this is not true. In fact, there is an average of ---- new Cannabis studies being published everyday!

We also cannot deny the value of mounting body of anecdotal evidence that exsist.

ECN relies on both scientific and anecdotal evidence to ensure that the educational content we produce as well as the educational content we review is always backed by credible resources, is evidence based and promotes not just harm reduction but benefit maximization.

ACCESSIBILITY

We believe that education needs to be accessible to all and so we pride ourselves on ensuring that we can provide content that is engaging and easy to follow.

As dedicated allies to the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, we at EduCanNation recognize the vast Sovereign unsurrendered and Treaty territories from the East to the West coast.

We acknowledge the first peoples of Turtle Island (Canada) to be the original and rightful landowners, land caretakers, and land healers to what we know to be Canada.

Through an ever growing network of partners and supporters, we at EduCanNation sincerely aim to continually work and learn how to be diverse and responsive in supporting the various wellness needs of Indigenous communities.
