Brand Development Manager

Josée got her start in the Sovereign Cannabis industry within her home community of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nations in Ontario. In 2019, she began working in community engagement, progressed to brand development, and then focused on advocacy for the rights of indigenous people within the sovereign market.

Since 2023, Josee has proudly held the advocacy and policy portfolio on the BOD of EduCanNation. Josee's strong point is sharing her diverse, ever-growing network of people in various fields of industry. In turn, Josee helps to educate the public on the various resources and strengths ECN carries while helping to spread awareness and appreciation for the ECN organization and helping EduCanNation grow in credibility and support within the various Indigenous communities in Canada

As dedicated allies to the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, we at EduCanNation recognize the vast Sovereign unsurrendered and Treaty territories from the East to the West coast.

We acknowledge the first peoples of Turtle Island (Canada) to be the original and rightful landowners, land caretakers, and land healers to what we know to be Canada.

Through an ever growing network of partners and supporters, we at EduCanNation sincerely aim to continually work and learn how to be diverse and responsive in supporting the various wellness needs of Indigenous communities.
