OUR VISION:

  • To cultivate a community of Cannabis educators from diverse backgrounds and practices that collaborates to advance Cannabis research, knowledge, and policies.

  • To be the primary source of responsible Cannabis education in Canada that supports the sharing of current, evidence-based, unbiased, and accurate Cannabis knowledge to Cannabis educators, the medical industry, healthcare professionals, licensed producers/holders (LPs/LH’s), government, educational institutions, and the general public.

  • To advocate for:​

    • An individual's right to utilize Cannabis, whether for harm reduction, medicinal, spiritual, or recreational purposes;

    • Cannabis accessibility, including credible guidance on accessing safe, affordable, and effective Cannabis products; 

    • De-stigmatization and respect of Cannabis utilization; 

    • Inclusion and representation within unbiased Cannabis research, policies, and industry;

    • The inherent sovereign rights of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples for the operation of a Sovereign Cannabis Industry and the ability to lead self-determining communities.

Our AWOEC programs are designed to bring Credible Cannabis Education to our communities through customized educational talks, workshops and materials developed to inform participants of what Cannabis is, how it interacts with our bodies, safety and harm reduction principals, rights and regulations, and more.

Recreational legalization of Cannabis has done nothing to improve patient and caregiver access to quality education, guidance, and support.

ECN's AWACE program connects patients and caregivers to CCEs who can provide individualized education, help access and navigate Medical Cannabis, and provide accompaniment to ensure a safe and successful wellness journey.

STANDARDIZING CANNABIS EDUCATION TOGETHER

Cannabis education needs to be standardized. Everyone should be teaching the same way with factual information.
