Service Description

For patients and caregivers who have already had their Initial Consultation & Education Session. Help obtaining a medical document / cannabis prescription, if desired (for Canadians only) Communications with your healthcare provider to provide advocacy, information as well as support and instruction on writing a cannabis prescription and standard practices; A 1-hour education session will include the following: • Review of cultivars/products that are appropriate to use for specific condition(s); which methods of intake are most suitable for these condition(s); how to titrate doses; possible side-effects, how to avoid them, and how to deal with them if they occur; and look at other possible alternative treatments and lifestyle changes that may help achieve health goals; • Choice of a Licensed Producer, how-to register, and place orders if needed (for Canadians only); • Help filling in personal or designated grower application to Health Canada, if needed (for Canadians only); 6 to 12 x 15-minute follow-up consultations over the phone or via video conference calls, by appointment to help guide, support and answer any questions; Short weekly texts or emails for further support, if needed. Note that by booking this service, you are booking the date and time of the first appointment. A schedule will be determined with the educator during this first appointment for all subsequent appointments.
